Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. She believes relational healing is essential as relationships shape, hurt, challenge, and support us throughout our lives. She specializes in working with individuals facing betrayal, relational, developmental, and intergenerational trauma. She also helps couples struggling to connect with each other’s true selves.

As a therapist, Laura loves seeing her clients rediscover hope and healing, even when it feels out of reach. She believes that everyone can be the hero of their own story, and she is here to support, challenge, and encourage her clients.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech and a Master of Science in Counseling from Divine Mercy University. Her work with nonprofit organizations has provided her with diverse experiences, including supporting pregnant women during challenging times and helping children cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Her approach to therapy is holistic, always considering a client's mental, emotional, physical, relational, spiritual, and cultural dimensions. She utilizes various therapeutic modalities, including person-centered, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman methods, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). She believes in a collaborative approach, where the client is the expert of their own life.

She is also passionate about women’s health, immigrant family dynamics, and supporting those with loved ones struggling with addiction. As a Spanish speaker, she is dedicated to serving culturally diverse populations.
