ALLISON EDMONDSON, BS - GRADUATE STUDENT INTERN (SUPERVISED BY JAMI DE LEON, LMFT)

Allison is currently pursuing a Masters in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from St. Edward’s University and has a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family services from Oklahoma State University. She has completed Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is certified in Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling. Before joining us, Allison worked within the nonprofit sector for over eight years with a focus on providing services to families and children in poverty, along with teens and young adults experiencing homelessness. Feelings, emotions, communication, and relationships; these aspects of life can be difficult to navigate and even harder to change. With this in mind, Allison’s focus is on individuals, couples, and families looking to better understand themselves and the systems they are a part of to find meaning and growth without judgment. Allison’s approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative as you walk through therapy together. Outside of counseling you can find Allison playing sand volleyball, walking Town Lake, or checking out the latest coffee shop or restaurant to open in Austin.
